ABOUT COACH PIERRE:
My name is Pierre Luigi Santos Bondoc. I teach 7/8th Grade Physical Education at El Dorado Elementary School in Stockton, CA. I also serve as Assistant Wrestling Coach/Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Humanities, Social Science, Education, Kinesiology, & Athletics at San Joaquin Delta College (SJDC). Prior to working at SJDC, I was with Western New England University (Springfield, MA) as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at and Co-Head Wrestling Coach at Bay State Wrestling Club (August 2015-June 2016). I served as a Graduate Assistant/Teaching Fellow at Springfield College (Springfield, MA) from 2011-2015 as I earned my M.S. in Sport & Exercise Psychology and began earning credits towards a PhD in Physical Education - Teaching and Administration, with my research interests focused on coaching efficacy and education. I earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University in May 2011. I was also a member of the SFSU Wrestling team, was team captain and an NCAA DII National Qualifier during my senior season. A passion for teaching and coaching have grown through my own experiences as both a student in the classroom and an athlete on the mat. My goal is to continue my own education to better serve all students and athletes that I have the privilege to lead. |
